The workshop was organized as part of CEMM lectures for everyone who uses scanning electron microscope in their work (SEM_MajaKoblar_handouts). We talked about the vacuum system and why we have different pumps. The SEM was divided in to two parts, first we explained the column and then the chamber with all the detectors. We looked at all the different parts on JSM-5800 and JSM-7600F.
The next workshop will mainly focus on the graphic user interface of JSM-7600F. We will explain all the different modes and how to perfect your image.
